Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "game.dat" file in the game directory. Locate the line "Volume: -750, 0, -5??" and change it to "Volume: -750, 0, -581". Note: The "750" value may vary from game to game.
UK Version
Hold [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Alt] + W during game play. A prompt will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. Type 2061 and press [Enter] at the prompt. The, press A then press [Enter] to enable cheat mode. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

5 Tons Of Items Easily
Firt enter in the activation cheat: {Ctrl+Alt+W, 2061, Enter, A, Enter}. Then enter in the same code except press the desired item # instead of 2061. The more times you press the A key, the more you get of that desired item. The item #'s range in order from 02-21. {Note: the 0 in the item code must be included in order for the code to work. Also the wood, brick, tool, money, and cannon codes still work while the item code is on. You must also re-enter the item code every time for different items and the second Enter that is in the activation code isn't needed in the item code.}
Extra Wood
Build two forester's huts instead one. With the overload, you can sell plenty. Wood never run's out as long as you keep planting trees. Getting wood is very quick, so you'll get a lot quickly.
More Space
Find two islands that are close to each other. Put a warehouse on each. Use one for production and one for housing. That way, there's more room for houses and wares. Use your ship to get things from one to another. Yes, it takes a little more effort, but sometimes it's worth it.
Make Another City
First go to the land that you like, then put the Wharehouse, but don't bulid a city yet, than go to another land that you like than put another wharehouse until how many land you like to build a city. After you put the wharehouse then build a city. ( Note: build the wharehouse where the land has a 100 percent coconut and spices.)
Free Items
When you buy something and your income is red or low, save the game. Load it again and you will have your money back.
