The best way to stay alive using the marine is to use the sweeping motion, Here's How. Normally when you use the motion tracker you go in a straight line, no that is the quickest way to die. Instead sweep from side to side down the tunnle or room, this way you have a chance to dodge or find aliens before it's to late.

To Save Smart Gun Ammo

Shoot glasses with the pulse rifle instead of the Smart Gun, it can save your life ahead in the game.
