Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
NPCs
There aren't many NPCs, but you often have to go back and talk to them after doing some unrelated task. They will sometimes reveal new clues and information.
Puzzle Clues
Many of the puzzles have the clues needed to solve them in a separate location. If there's something to fiddle with that doesn't make any apparent sense, it's probably because you haven't located enough clues. Keep checking your notebook for information you may have already gathered.
Too Dark To Read Clues
Some of the areas are quite dark, and have clues that can be difficult to see. If possible, turn up the brightness or gamma of your monitor or video card. There are no in-game settings to brighten the graphics.
Skip FMVs
You can use the escape key to skip FMV animations - moving stairs and elevators, conversations, etc. Some repeat frequently and you'll want to skip them.
