As a player of Bejeweled since the early 90's, this new version was made especially for Facebook. It the same classic gem matching action/strategy game, but with a 1 minute time limit - hence the word "blitz". You get points by getting gems of the same color and shape into straight lines of at least 3 in-a-row. But the key is to get more points by making longer rows or columns. When you make longer matches, you also get special gems that can earn you even more points.

I love getting into a good game of "Bejeweled Blitz"...it is relaxing, yet it gets my adrenalin going at the same time...it is my nightly escape from the rest of the earlier day. Whoever put this game together is genius...I would love to see moe improvementsw iun the game....the graphics are great and the sound effects give me that boost I need...keep up the good work
