To beat the last boss you need to first dodge his head attack. Then hit him when he turns blue to get the dino strike. Wait to use dino strike until he starts to use tail whip. Repeat until ring out.

When see or hear an armadillo you press y to scream when it turns blue. Then you will get your item.
