When the player ‘suits up' as a member of the CT Special Intervention Forces, all underwater activity presents with it a new set of weapons and threats that are designed to challenge. When getting ready to go underwater, the player will want to keep in mind that they need to have their harpoon gun handy for enemy encounters. On land, players can use knives, a pistol, M4 and M16 assault rifles, grenades, grenade launchers, C4 explosive chargers, a flame-thrower, and a rocket launcher. Optional modes of transportation include a jeep, truck, helicopter, and inflatable boat. During game play, ground vehicles can be seen from the side while all air transportation can be seen from above. All air transportation can drop bombs onto targets while ground vehicles can blast off missile launchers to eliminate air targets. The game features a number of hidden areas in each mission where special rewards including special weapons and extra lives can be picked up. Game replay is enhanced due to the fact that the game features more than one path to reach exits.
