Use lots of bravery attacks until your opponent is about to have a bravery break (when enemies bravery turns grey)Then ex burst afterwards if you do the deal like rapidly pressing O timing R just right ETC. Then your damage should do over a thousand easily. Finaly a little tip wait till your ex gauge is nearly empty before you burst and you will regenerate alot more health then normal if you do it instantly.
To do this you must have: At least Three Diamond Equipment, Beckoning Cat accessory, and the Diamond Ring. Go to "Quick Battle", Pick any character you want for this, select Chaos as your opponent, set his Level to 1, fight him, but make sure to get the AP chance for All Three Battles When you defeat him, you will have earned around 100 AP.
If you know Terra, then you know it is not easy beating Chaos with her. But you can block most of his attacks with Terra, but it is not easy. If Chaos uses Soul of Oblivion quickly close in on him unless he is too far away, then just stay where you are, and attack him. If he uses Divine Punishment, within 2 seconds use Tornado. It will not only block his attack, it will hurt him as well. If he uses Demonsdance use Tornado to counter. If he uses Utter Chaos, try to dodge it, but it will be extremely hard, considering Terra is one of the slowest characters in the game.
First, go to Quick Battle. Then, set your enemy's level 5 levels ahead of yours (it helps to have a level 100 character), and choose your character. If you keep on using your hp attack, you will gain Exp, and you could get a level easily.
If you hate waiting for your bonuses to come around then try this. Just save your game and go to your PSP settings and change the time and date to the date that your bonuses appear on the calender.
Arcade mode is only useful to obtain PP. Exp, Records, and other stuff for accomplishments aren't unlockable here. (only real use here is the 'PP Baron' [collect set amount pp] and 'Collect Them All' [50% PP Catalog unlocked] accomplishments).
Beat the first three play plans in order to unlock Grind-Core (Black Chocobo, EXP boost often no treasure) and Treasure Hunter (Fat Chocobo, treasure but no exp boost). This helps if you want fast level up or lots of treasure.
After unlocking the 'pp catalog' go in and buy the 'cpu cap +' options. Start training your characters against characters 30 levels above you and you gain 5 levels in the first fight if you win. Keep going with this to hit high levels faster. P. S . Works best if you have the 'Grind-Core' game plan on.
Defeat Chaos in Shade Impulse and buy him in the PP catalog.
