How to Enter Game Boy Cheats

Directional Pad: Also known as the D-Pad, this pad can be pushed up, down, left, or right. When a cheat says to press "up" without being specific as to which part of the controller to use, it's usually this one.
Select Button: Can be used either before or during the input of cheats.
Start Button: Can be used either before or during the input of cheats.
A and B Buttons: Popular buttons used in many cheats.
