Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
All Movies (except Credits)minus Commentary
First, as soon as you log in, click on the adventure mode option. Second, before you choose a cup (red, green, blue, yellow)look down and you will see a box that says "scene player" to see the movies you need to hit square. *Note* it works in both single player and hero mode, but I don't know whether you have all the movies when you start so maybe you have to win the game in single player once and in hero mode you get it right off the bat.
Make Easy Money
All you have to do to get easy money is to go into expedition mode (1 player) and do death races. Repeat this process to get over 100,000 orbs!
Play With Ratchet
If you have a Ratchet: Deadlocked save file on your memory card then go to search for secret characters and it will show you that you've unlocked him.
Turbo At The Begining Of A Race
When you start a race as soon a the time hits go press x and R2 at the same time.
Sport Hunt In Clifftop Battlefield
There's an easier way of killing the creatures in Clifftop Battlefield. Hit the creatures with your car or try to get missles to target the creatures. Hit the oter player for more extra points. Here's an extra tip: Do more hang times and more power slides to get even more points.
Play As G.T. Blitz
Successfully complete the game to unlock G.T. Blitz.
Play As Jak
Have a saved game file from Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on your memory card to unlock Jak from Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy at the Secrets Shop when you select the "Scan For Secret Characters" option.
Play As Jak 2
Have a saved game file from Jak 2 on your memory card to unlock Jak from Jak 2 at the Secrets Shop when you select the "Scan For Secret Characters" option.
Play As Pecker
Accumulate ten hours of game play time to unlock Pecker for purchase at the Secrets Shop for 60,000 Orbs.
Play As Jak 3
Have a saved game file from Jak 3 on your memory card to unlock Jak from Jak 3 at the Secrets Shop when you select the "Scan For Secret Characters" option.
Boosted Start
When a race starts, don't hit the gas untill the banner turns green, or when you hear the sound to go. As soon as that tone sounds, hit the gas. You will get a boosted start, and your blue eco meter will fill 3/4ths of the way up.
Tight Turns
Are you tired of slaming in to walls? You can power slide and not only make it around turns, but also add to your boost. note:keep doing this to help to finish 1st
Unlockables & Awards
Unlockable Hot Coffee Video
Beat the game 100% to unlock the video hot coffee for 100,000 orbs. It has Daxter and his girl, Tess, getting down and dirty at the naughty otsel. Trust me, it is worth the 100,000 orbs.
Play As Ratchet
If you beat Ratchet: Deadlocked, go to the secret store in Jak X and go to scan for secret characters. This will unlock Ratchet in Exhibition mode
Play As Ratchet
To unlock Ratchet, make sure you have a Ratchet: Deadlocked save file on your memory card. Select Scan for Secret Characters from the Secrets Shop.
UR-86
Beat the Kras City Qualifier race.
Kiera
Beat the game.
Hero Mode
Beat the game at 100%. Then purchase it at the secrets shop for 50,000 orbs.
Daxter
Play the game for 5 hours and you will unlock Daxter. Then buy him in the secrets shop for 50,000 orbs.
Sand Shark
Have Jak 3 in your memory card. In Jak X go to Secret shop and select scan for secrets and you should unlock sand shark. You could buy it for 50,000 precursor orbs.
Daxter Mobile
This is a cool funny looking car. Just connect your psp to your PS2 and in the secret shop select SCAN FOR SECRETS and you should have it and other characters.
