Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
Easier Catches
To catch the ball more often jump just before it gets to you. Caution if you get hit while your in the air and you get hit you may drop the ball.
Strong Wind Trick
Note: This only happens if there is a strong winnd and the kickers leg is strong enough. On kickoff, in as strong wind, kick the ball with the red line on the kick meter as high as it will go. Kick the ball right down the middle of the field and make the ball fly over the goalpost. When it goes past the goalpost or fly between them and the returner will try to receive it but instead just runs into the goalpost and the impact will make him fall or even fly across the endzone. It may take a few tries.
Get Cheat Cards
First you have to create a profile. Then when you go to choose your side, select your team and press "x". Go to where it says user profile and move over until you see your profile name.Press "x",then press "start". When you start the game, the "Madden Chalenge" option will be enabled.(You will get tokens for accomplishing certain goals.) After the game is over, you take your tokens to the "Madden Cards" option. Select "Card Book" and press "o". Once you have pressed "o", you will have purchased a pack of cards. You will be able to view your cards.(You also will be able to activate, deactivate, and sell any cards back if you would like.)
Infinite Creation Points
Go to the edit player screen and go to the speed catagory. Press X, then you go down and you'll be there.
Free Players
Go to setting, then gameplay. Scroll down to salary cap and turn it off. You can trade or sign as many people as you like!
Draft Pick Trade
In franchise mode after season one during preseason you may trade away draft picks for players to upgrade your team. Once regular season begins draft pick is restored. You can trade to computers favor. You don't want to trade players for draft picks because the draft pick go back to the original seven picks.
Bragging About Your Touchdown
If you get a good pass off, or if you can manage to run the distance and break free, then you will be able to taunt your opponent by the time you reach the 15 yard-line. Just press and hold one of the four shoulder buttons once you are about ten or fifteen yards away from the endzone, if your nearest opponent is more than five yards away, you can run with joy in scoring a touchdown.
Always Win The Coin Toss
Keep pressing start before the text appears on the coin toss screen.
Crawling
To crawl you first have to let the other team get a touchdown. After that, on the field goal attempt, right before he says hike, run into the post. When he says hike, move around you should be crawling!! NOTE! this may take a few tries.
