Shortcut In Mushroom Bridge
When you cross the finish line on any lap, go a little bit farther, and you should see a place where you can turn right. Follow the pathway to a green pipe, where you will get a double cube, and will be ahead of a couple karts. But be careful! Bomb cars sometimes come out of the pipe!
Extra Glide
To get a little extra glide, get Paratroopa and an other light player. Have Paratroopa in the back seat. When you go over bumps or ramps you will glide a few more feet than usual.
Luigi Ciruit Short Cut
Go to the chain chops left side and there will be a short cut and 2 double boxes.
Bowser Castle Short Cut
When you get to fire ball room there is a passage in the middle you will need a mushroom or a star be careful fire balls come through that way.
Shortcut In Mushroom City
When you start the race in mushroom city at one point you will have to choose whether to go to the right or straight go straight if you stick to the right eventully you should find it.
Shortcut On Dry Dry Desert
If your any good you wont have to use this but it cant hurt to try this. To do this shortcut you need a star or toads supershroom. (Sometimes it will work with 3 mushrooms) Where the giant sand hole thing is with the peitta plant inside use your star or shroom or whatever and ride straight through it.
Rattle Buggy
Beat the 100cc Mushroom cup with a first place victory. After, you can use the rattle buggy.
Parade Cart
To get the GREAT Parade Cart, beat every single Cup including the All Cup Tour in 50cc 100cc and 150cc in Mirror Mode. This cart can be used by any driver!
Dino Dino Jungle - Shortcut
Do you know the first bridge that splits into two? If so, you need to turn sharply to the right, before you reach the bridge. There will be a skinny path with speed pads that leads you to the left side of the bridge. But be CAREFUL about coming back on to the bridge! It's pretty tricky!
Shortcut - Yoshi Circuit
While you are driving, look on your map. Do you see the spikes on the back of Yoshi? If so, right before you get to the spikes, there should be no wall. If you boost with a mushroom off the edge, you will see an opening to a cave just to your RIGHT. go through there and you will end up at the first really sharp turn on the back of yoshi's neck.
Star Boost
On star road, when a falling star flys down and a star shows up, if you have a mushroom use it when going over the star and then you get to have a star boost.
Yoshi Island
On the Island that is shaped like a Yoshi there is a jump. To do this you first should have a mushroom. Right after you pass the starting line and you take the first couple turns you will notice that you are about to go into a tunnel. If you have a mushroom you can use it to instead of taking the right into the tunnel go straight over the grassy area. If you don't have a mushroom you will fall into tha water underneath. This ius a very handy trick that can save you precious seconds on every lap.
Mushroom Car
Hit the Mushroom Cars in Mushroom Bridge or Mushroom Bridge and a mushroom will pop out. If you hit that then you will get a boost.
Mushroom City Hint
When you pass the finish line, on any lap, follow the road. When you get to the part of the corse that you can turn right, just keep on going straight and off the the right of the track will be a little pink/purple pathway. Go onto it and follow it. It should put you a couple of seconds ahead of the others.
Bullet Blaster!!
To get the Bullet Blaster kart, win the Grand Prix gold trophy on Special Cup (50cc). The Buttet Blaster's specs are:
Speed: **** Acceleration: *** Weight: *
Shortcut: Mushroom City
To get to the shortcut first you begin the race, but before you make that first right turn where the arrows are. (The first pair of arrows.) Just keep going straight. Then when you see the window with three stars above it. Turn to the right right there. And you are in an one lane alternate route.
Ride In The Para Wing
Finish 1st place at the Star Cup at 50cc. That Kart will be unlocked.
Ride In The Bloom Coach
Finish 1st in the Flower Cup at 50cc. The Bloom Coach is now unlocked.
Ride The Green Fire
Finish 1st place in the Mushroom Cup at Grand Prix Mode at 50cc. Now you will be able to ride the Kart.
Barrel Train Kart
Win the Star Cup in 150cc to get the Barrel Train kart.
Unlock Parade Car
To unlock the parade car you must first unlock all cup tour and mirror mode. Beat all cup tour in mirror mode to unlock the car its stats are: speed****, acceleration***, weight****. This is the last car you will unlock.
Peach Beach Prize
On the Mushroom Cup's Peach Beach course, a row of buildings lines the left side of the course just after the starting line. The foundation of the final building holds a warp pipe. You'll go off-course if you head for it, but you can make up lost seconds by powering up a Mini-Turbo as you drift and skid toward the pipe. The pipe will teleport you directly overhead, where you'll automatically hit a Double Item Box!
Boost
When you powerslide push the analog stick to the opposite direction 3 time after you start your powerslide and when your sparks turn blue, let go of the L or R button and you will get a mini- boost (it can win a race for you).
Steal Items
When you have a mushroom or a star, ram someone and you will steal the rear players item and the front one will drop it, if you are playing co-op then have the rear player hit L or R to bump the other player, the rear player will grab the item the front character will drop his item and the will slow down.
Rock Solid Pair
I've played Double Dash a lot and when I do grand prix, I usually win by using Koopa and Koopa Troopa in either the koopa dasher or the koopa troopa dasher.
How To Get Luigi's Mansion In Battle Mode
First get waluigi's car and use waluigi and mario to race. Now finish in first place in the mushroom cup on 150cc.
King Boo And Petey Piranha
Finish the Star Cup in Mirror Mode.
Toadette's Kart
Finish the Mushroom Cup in Mirror Mode.

Yoshi Circuit: Shortcut
Go all the way through the track until you reach the tunnel. After going through the tunnel, drive off the edge of the cliff into the side of the mountain. You must have a star or mushroom to get this shortcut.
Quick Start
To get a boost, repeatedly tap A at the start of the countdown.
Waluigi's Kart
Win the Flower Cup in the 100cc class to unlock Waluigi's Racer Kart.
All Cup Tour
Win the Special Cup in the 150cc class to unlock the All Cup Tour, which is a combination of all of the four default cups.
Special Cup
Win the Star Cup in the 100cc class to unlock the Special Cup for all classes in versus and time trial modes.
Mirror Mode
Win the All Cup Tour in the 150cc class.
Alternate Opening And Ending Screens
Win the All Cup Tour in mirror mode.
Luigi's Mansion Battle Arena
Win the Mushroom Cup in the 150cc class.
Tilt-A-Kart Battle Arena
Win the Flower Cup in mirror mode.
Dino Land: Shortcut
If you have a mushroom and are in the cave with the geysers, turn right, boost, and you will be able to make the jump.
Baby Luigi's Kart
Win the Mushroom Cup in the 100cc class.
Mushroom Bridge: Shortcut
Drive on the bridge to get a massive speed boost; just do not fall off.
Peach Beach: Shortcut
As soon as you go onto the beach, go left and up the ramp to cut a few seconds off your time.
Unlocking New Karts In Grand Prix
Win a Grand Prix in first place to unlock a new Kart. There is a bonus Kart in each cc class and Grand Prix that you can win (nine total).
Birdo's Kart
Win the Flower Cup in the 150cc class.
Bowser Jr.'s Kart
Win the Special Cup in the 50cc class.
All Bonuses
Win all cups with a "Gold" rank under all difficulty settings.
Daisy's Kart
Win the Flower Cup in the 50cc class to unlock Daisy's Bloom Coach Kart.
Taunts
To taunt enemy racers, press X or Y without having an item.
Diddy Kong's Kart
Win the Star Cup in the 150cc class.
Mushroom Bridge: Shortcut
If you have a mushroom, you can go up the dirt hill and shave a lot of time off your score.
King Boo's Kart
Win the Special Cup in mirror mode.
Koopa's Kart
Win the Star Cup in the 50cc class to unlock Koopa's Parakoopa's Kart.
Luigi's Kart
Win the Mushroom Cup in the 50cc class to unlock Luigi's Green Fire Kart.
Petey Piranha's Kart
Win the Star Cup in mirror mode.
Toadsworth's Kart
Win the All Cup Tour in mirror mode.
DK Mountain: Shortcut
After you are shot up the hill, on the second turn on the grassy area of the mountain, power slide to the left. Then, let go and power slide again to the right. The back of your kart should hit the mountainside. Go forward to jump the abyss. Note: If you have a big kart and you fall, this will not work.
Daisy Cruiser: Shortcut
Drop down into the cargo area and get a double item box and an exhaust pipe that will give you a speed boost.
Unlock Toad And Toadette
To unlock Toad and his partner Toadette, finish in first place in all the 50 and 100ccs
