Infinite Ammo
At the main menu press F1, F1, F5, F6, F5. You will here a beep that indicates you did it right.

You Can't Kill Me!
Having a hard time with a level that you can't beat? Want to be invincible? Well, I have a solution. Start a mission, go to the options menu, and click the invincibility box, and presto! You are invincible. If you take damage, and your picture in the corner of your screen is all the way red, or whatever color, don't worry. You are invincible.
Mechs
Okay while smaller mechs go faster, the larger mechs go slower but have better armor and can take more hits from powerful weapons. And even if you do have a better armored mech, still stay away from large explosions, I remember one time I stood right next to one of the dropships and destroyed it, I came out with 4 destroyed weapons, a destroyed leg and a hell of a lot of damage to the rest of my mech.
Lancemate
Never, ever lose track of your lancemate(s). In the fist couple of missions you can't control them, but in the few levels following that you can control them but they are invincible. After those missions you can still control them, just they can be destroyed.
Save Weight
When modifying your mech, get rid of the boosters, as they not only don't carry you very far, they often overheat your mech if you're not careful.
Sniping
I found this out when when I playing some Instant Action on the Wave setting. First you get a Mech with a Jump Pack and have some long range lasers or other long range weapons. Then jump on the roof of a building doesn't matter how high. Then just start picking off the enemy Mechs one at time and they will never hit you. Warning: doesn't work on humans on multiplayer. Hope this helps someone out there.
