Mortal Kombat: "Komplete" Edition

I grew up on major gaming franchises like Mario and Sonic, but when I seen Mortal Kombat for the first time, I just HAD to play it. The first one was easy, the second one was RIDICULOSLY HARD, and the third one was challenging.

10 years went by, when this game came out. I couldn't believe it. I could actually live out my past from the old games! Sadly, I didn't have the money for it at the time, so I had to wait. I finally got $200 to buy the game and Microsoft Points.

I went to Gamestop, and that's when I found this: Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition, for $20. I bought it, took it back home, and I was hooked. I got all the Costumes, all the characters, and all the DLC too! It even came with the original Mortal Kombat movie and the downloadable themes soundtrack! I was amazed of how much this game offered! But let's actually talk about the game now, shall we?

The game, like I said, had so much to offer. It had the characters, regular, unlockable, and DLC, It had all the costumes for each characters (except the DLC), and it had every 2 fatalities, stage fatality, and babality in the moves list. The Story Mode was amazing, especially the twist at the end which I'm not going to spoil. It's kind of sad the story was really short. You could still do all of the hidden battles and secrets, and do the challenge tower. The Krypt had everything in there too, even the secret fatalities which you already know. Xbox Live Battles are amazing, especially with the chat. My personal favorite is King of the Hill on Xbox Live.

However, there are some things I question about this game. If it's a complete edition, shouldn't EVERYTHING be unlocked? You still have to do the challenge tower to unlock the next challenge, and you need to unlock all the gallery art and music in the Krypt. It doesn't make sense! The title says it all: Mortal Kombat: KOMPLETE Edition. they could have at least unlocked every challenge on the challenge tower so you could do whichever one, and put all the Gallary Art, Music, etc. in the Nekropolis so you could unlock the items to get the 2 achievements. But the one thing that makes me mad the most in this game is how easy this game is, even on EXPERT. Sure, it may be hard for others, but most of us out there have the same opinion out there: "IT'S TOO EASY." I run through Ladder mode, Tag-Team Ladder Mode, Story Mode, Challenge Tower, Test your Might, Test your Sight, Test your Strike, Hidden Battles, The Krypt, and the Nekropolis like it's a CAKEWALK. The only thing that is challenging is Xbox Live Battles, which are also sometimes easy too, but at least people on they're can mix it up instead of Shao Kahn taunting like he's the best.

Trust me, this game's amazing, and I would've rated it 5 stars, but it being "complete" with everything and the difficulty is definitely not right, which definitely drops it down about one star. Even after all this, I would still recommend buying it or downloading a demo to try it, it's pretty fun.
