At the main menu, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Up(2).
Shoot Paintballs
At the "Race Day" screen in single race or head-to-head mode, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Up(2). Use your horn (press Up) to shoot a paintball. Alternately, select practice mode and press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Down(2) to enable paintballs.
Arcade-style Beat The Heat Mode
At the main menu, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Left, Right. Cars can now hit the wall in beat the heat mode.
Hornball Mode
At the race day screen in single race or head-to-head mode, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Up(2). Start a race and press Up to shoot a ball. Press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Down(2) in practice mode to enable hornball mode.
Disable Strict Mode In Beat-the-heat Mode
At the main menu, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Left, Right to disable strict mode in beat-the-heat mode, which will allow you to hit walls.
Hide Reply Overlay
At the main menu, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Down, Up. During reply mode, press Circle to hide the reply overlay.
Hardcode Mode
At the main menu, press Up, Down, Left, Right, R1, Up, Down to unlock hardcode mode (advanced physics).

Beat The Heat
In "Beat the Heat" on the "Reflex testing" one, you have to avoid crashes. On the first one you go up high on the track 2 avoid all the cars. You will get awfully close to the wall but if you are good at driving you will go right to the finish line and finish first. Good Luck!
Kyle Petty
Complete every Heat challenge any rating above bronze to unlock and race Kyle Petty.
Hardcore Realism Mode
Get a 100 point rating on a track to unlock the hardcore realism mode option for that track.
Race As Richard Petty
Successfully complete all Heat challenges with a bronze or higher rating to unlock Richard Petty.
