60 frames per second with all hidden wrestlers and rings
While the Playstation is powered off, hold Circle + Square + L1 + L2 + R1 + Up + Right + Select + Start. Then, turn on the Playstation as the buttons are held. Now a menu resembling the practice screen will appear. Release the buttons and choose the game options. After all options are set, press and hold in order R1 + L1 + L2 + R2 + Start. If you entered the code correctly, the game background will disappear. The frame rate of the game will be increased to 60 FPS. Additionally, all hidden wrestlers and two extra rings (Tokyo A 2 & Outside 2) will be available. Note: The increased frame rate is only available in Singles matches.
Play as Pegasus Kid
At the title screen, press L1, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Wild Pegasus.
Play as Kero-Chan
At the title screen, press L2, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Power Warrior.
Play as Hiroshi Hase
At the title screen, press R1, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Kensuke Sasaki.
Play as Tiger Hattori
At the title screen, press R2, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using The Great Muta.
Play as the young Antonio Inoki
At the title screen, press Triangle, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Tatsumi Fujinami.
Play as the young Jyushin "Thunder" Lyger
At the title screen, press Circle, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Jyushin "Thunder" Lyger.
Play as the young Seiji Sakaguchi
At the title screen, press X, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Antonio Inoki.
Play as Tiger Mask
At the title screen, press Square, Select. If you entered the code correctly, the phrase "Press Start" will flash. Note: This wrestler can also be playable after winning the Burning Spirits Challenge using Kohji Kanemoto.
Save hidden wrestlers
When completing the Burning Spirits Challenge, choose the "Yes" option to the Save Game questions. Then, the wrestlers will also be saved if they were activated by a code and by saving a league or tournament game in progress.
