Whatever else may be said about Quake II, one thing is certain: It is the only first-person shooter to render the original Quake entirely obsolete. When running the game, by pushing the ~ key and then entering "god mode" it will then say godmode on. By doing this you are invincible.
Press "~" then type "noclip" and you can walk through walls.
Press ~ and type in sv_gravity 0-800. The higher the number the more gravity you have on the game.
Press ~ to display the console, then type in "notarget" and it will make you invisable to enimies. But if you shoot them they will know your there and attack you.
In Quake2 type "~" to bring forward the console. Type the following: bind mouse1 "+attack; give hyperblaster" Now every time you hit the left button on your mouse to shoot, you get more ammo for the hyperblaster gun. You can replace "hypeblaster with bullets og grenades. For this cheat to work you have to get the ammo first. If you don't want to roam around empty 'til you find ammo, you can shorten the wait by first type "Give All" (sans quotes) in the console.

Press "~" to bring up console. Type "god". This will turn godmode on. Type it again to turn godmode off. Result: no damage. This works for both mission packs as well. I like to use "god" and "give all" together so I can really cause some utter destruction.
Go to the main menu and select multiplayer. From the multyplayer menu select deathmatch flags. Under the deathmatch flags menu select infinite ammo and switch it to "yes".
