Pause the game then hold L, then press A, A, A, B, B, A, X, Y, A, Y, Y.
Extra Items
Allow the opening sequence to complete. Enter the options screen and select "Preferences". Hold A and press B(6). Start a new game to get extra food, potions, and weapons.
