Cheats for Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast

During play on sonics level Metel Harbor, press the Y (green) button on controller 2, Sonic will appear to be riding a board. Note: when this happens, get hit by an enemy to get out of the board.

Ghost Chao ~

Give your Chao a Skeleton Dog then some Half Fish (this will give it a flame dot). After, give your Chao some Bats to make it's legs dissapear and then give your Chao a skull or pumpkin hat. It will then put on the hat and you will have a Ghost Chao. (It is best if you make this Chao Dark)

Evil Bunny Footed Chao ~

Make a Dark Chao. Give some Rabbit's to it, then some Skeleton Dogs until it is left with only Rabbit legs. (This may not work first time as the Skeleton Dogs may take away the legs) Once it has only Rabbit legs, give it a skull hat and it will be an Evil Bunny Footed Chao.

Cockroach Chao ~

Get a Black Chao, (either one from the Black Market or a Dark Chao) and give it some Dragons. After, give it some Skeleton Dogs until just the anttena of the Dragon are left on the Chao.

Mystic Chao ~

Download a Jewel Chao from the SA2 Homepage (Looks best with the Green Emerald Chao). Then, give the Chao some Dragons. Once you have done that, give it Skeleton Dogs so it leaves only the Dragons horns and it's tail (That can be very tricky and may require a few attempts). 

Halloween Chao ~

Make a White/Hero Chao and give it a Skeleton Dog. Then give it Bats to make its legs disappear and lastly, give it a Pumpkin Hat.

Just pick him up and throw him around. If you throw him at a bad guy, he'll blow up. You can even shoot him with Eggman or Tails while he's flying around your head.

Giva a chao an inside-out dog and dig up a skull in the dark garden with rouge or knuckles give it to that chao

Beat all of Knuckles missions with all A's

Beat all of Rouges missions with all A's

Beat all of Eggmans mission with all A's

Beat all of Shadows missions(not all A's)

Beat all of Sonics missions(not all A's)

beat all of Tails's missions (not all A's)

Which is just a normal adult Chao whom didn't evolve into all the above types. Look just like a normal Chao except a little bigger and walks and swims properly. To get this chao, give it a bunch of different classes of animals and/or differnt colors of Chaos Drives.

Give the Chao RED animals (bear, gorilla, and tiger) and red chaos drives. When it evolves, it will look like a dark red dragon. You may want to give it a Dragon so it will breath fire. :)

Give the Chao PURPLE animals (condor, parrot, and peacock) and purple chaos drives. When it evolves, it will look like a dark purple jester, sort of like NiGHTS. The spike ball will be sort of light blueish and the horns will have a devilish tip.

To get a plane hero chao, give the Chao differnt classes of animals and/or many colors of chaos drives from the hero characters.

Chao will evolve into this swimming chao if you keep on giving it YELLOW animals (otter, penguin, and seal) and some yellow chaos drives. When it evolves, it will be white and green with flat ears

Give a chao GREEN animals (boar, cheetah, and rabbit) and some green chaos drives. When it evolves, it will look white and yellow with a spike on its head.

Chao will evolve into this swimming chao if you keep on giving it YELLOW animals (otter, penguin, and seal) and/or yellow chaos drives. When it evolves, it will look like an fish.

Give a chao cheetahs, boars, and rabbits, and/or green chaos drives. Feed it too.

When your trying to get a hero or dark chao a it seems that it takes to long, pick him up and jump aroud with him and he will start to clap.

Defeat all of Sonic's levels and missions to unlock Space Sonic on 2P Action Mode.

To get an extra boost in "Kart Mode" go on the boost which is located on the floor and one secound before you go on it press "A+A" on the contol pad to get an extra boost. (To see if it worked your racres front wheels should go up).

Go to the stage select. Than go to dry lagon with rouge. At first you need to free the poor turtle. Then you take a ride in him to the second oasis. Go to thhe place were the wird spikes are in a circle. Whistle once and a Unicorn will pop out pick it up and press start and reset. Do this again and again but make sure at the last time you grab the choa key or nothing will happen.

Collect all 180 Emblems to unlock the following hidden multi-player characters:

In Rouge's Inside the Pyramid stage, one of the robots you blow up is E-102.

In the Security Hall stage you play as Rouge The Bat and are given 5 minutes to complete it. This can be quite difficult. If you have enough lives you can do this trick. If you cannot seem to find the Emeralds, intentionally die. You will keep the existing Emeralds that you have collected. You will begin at the start of the level and the Emeralds will move to different places. This is the fastest method for completing the stage if you are having trouble.

Pause the game and press Y + X.

Successfully complete the Hero or Dark side story modes to unlock boss attack mode. You will be able to fight the bosses from the side of the story you completed.

Raise a Hero Chao with one of the three Hero characters. Continually feed and train the Hero Chao and it should evolve (creates a tear-shaped "cocoon"). Once it evolves, ascending stairs should appear at the main Chao lobby leading to the Hero Garden.

Big the cat also can be seen in Shadow's highway level (forgot the name) right after u get on one of those rocket things you'll see a blimp that says "Got Ring?" as you're falling from being on the rocket you'll see him sitting on the blimp's fin thing. He also makes an appearence in the highway level for tails. It hard mode only though I think. Its right at the end a bridge will fall on you from above (not the one right before the big ring/goal thing) after it falls look up you can clearly see Big the Cat (or Fat in this case I guess he stepped on it and it couldn't take it). Ok one more time that ive noticed. This one is in the level for knuckles/rouge were u get the keys to open the door thing. In that level some were is a metal center thing with gizmos and duhickeys rotaiting around and stuff. If u look at it you can see Big in there in the middle.

On Tails's first stage in one of the jail cells you will see Big The Cat.

After beating both hero and dark stories you will get a new story,its called Last Stage? beat that and you will be able to play as super sonic and super shadow

At the start of the City Escape stage, instead of landing on the ground with the board, scrape the roads on the board. When on foot run full speed at a wall and get knocked down. Pause the game if you fall after hitting the wall. Choose to restart the stage to run on foot and not on the board.

Successfully complete all of Shadow's stages and missions with an "A" ranking to unlock Metal Sonic in kart mode.

Successfully complete all of Rouge's stages and missions to unlock her in an alternate costume in kart mode.

Successfully complete all of Eggman's stages and missions to unlock him in his alternate Eggwalker in kart mode.

Successfully complete all of Shadow's stages and missions to unlock him in an alternate costume in kart mode.

Go to a Chao Garden and get a coconut. Then with a sleeping Chao, pick up the coconut and put it by the its head. The coconut will act as a pillow.

Find one of the Skeleton Dogs; the easiest place to do so is the Pumpkin Hill stage with Knuckles, and combine it with your Chao. With either Knuckles or Rouge, start digging around in the Chao Garden. Eventually a pumpkin will appear. If you give it to the Chao mixed with the Skeleton Dog it will put it on its head. If you want to take it off, either throw or hit your Chao.

To make a Chao a Hero, simply use a Hero character and keep pressing B or X to pet them. If done long enough, it will go white and be a Hero. To make it Dark, just use a Dark character and do the same thing.
