Sound Test
Enable the "Level select" code. Then, restart the game using the option under the "File" menu. Now at the title screen, press [Down], [Down].
Level Select
Select "Sonic & Knuckles", choose any character, and play "Angel Island". Jump and hang on a swinging vine. Then, press [Left], [Left], [Left], [Right], [Right], [Right], [Up], [Up], [Up]. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
Everything Is Harder For Knuckles
Since Knuckles has the most special moves the zones and bosses are twice as hard so make sure to learn every move and try to make it better.
Continue
When you run out of lives press enter in the middle of the Game Over beat. You will have 10 seconds to push enter. Then you will be at your last checkpoint with three lives.
How To Finish Stage 2 With Tails Easily
You will be falling in the water. When you are in go straight to the direction left and you will see a Spring to make you jump. Jump on it and you will see something to land on. From there Fly to the right and you will see the floor. Then you just contine the stage.
Level Select
Pass the whole game with any character and choose you can choose any level.
Play As Supertails
Just Collect all 7 Super emeralds and collect 50 or more rings and jump twice. Supertails will have birds flying around him that can kill a monster even before you reach it!
Play As HyperKnuckles
Note: If you read my other code How to play as HyperSonic you just need to do the same thing with Knuckles or Tails. HyperKnuckles: Get all the Chaos emeralds. Once you get to Zone 7, there will be a room right when you land on the ground. Go into it. There will be a huge ring. Jump into it. You will be in the hidden palace. The emeralds will appear, but not in color. If you jump on one of the emeralds, it will activate a special stage. Completing a special stage turns the emerald you stood on into a super emerald. Complete all of the special stages to turn all the chaos emeralds into super emeralds. Now if you collect fifty rings and press the jump button during a jump, you will turn into HyperKnuckles. He will run faster, and when he clings onto a wall, all enemies on the screen will be destroyed.
Super Sonic
Collect all seven emeralds, then accumulate fifty rings or a single bonus. Then, quickly jump twice in succession.
Screen Capture
While playing a game, press [F9] to save an image of the current screen in the game directory.
Play As Hypersonic
Select Sonic3 & Knuckles. Collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds. When you get to stage 7 you will see a room go in to it. Once there you will see a big ring. Jump into it. You will be in a secret zone. Each Emerald will fall onto a stand. Jump onto an Emerald to goto a special stage. Complete all 7 special stages to turn all the chaos emeralds into super emeralds. Collect fifty or more rings in any stage and then jump and press the jump button while in the air to become hypersonic, who can go faster than normal sonic and do a really powerful energy attack.
