Max Cameo
Leave Mos Eisley and enter the Dune Sea, then make a ninety degree left turn. Keep moving forward to reach a small square with Max from the LucasArts game "Sam And Max Hit The Road".
Beat IG88 Easily
At the very beginning of the fight with IG88, when you are standing on the train, immediately strafe to the left. You should fall through the ground and be in a room underneath. Now shoot up at IG88, he cannot shoot you.
