CheatCodes
Unlock All Multiplayer Levels
At the Versus or Co op level select screen, press L1, R1, L2, R2, Right, Square, L3, R3.
Secret Attacks
To perform a secret attack with the various characters, spin the Left Analog- stick and tap Square. Note: This may require a few attempts.
Increase Score
Pause the game, then hold L1 + R1 and press Right(2), Left(2) on controller two to add 100 points to your score.
Display Score And Time
Pause the game and press Right(2), Left(2) on controller two.
Infinite Item Capacity
At the item selection screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Square(3), Up, Left, Down, Right, Square, Up, Right, Down, Left. Although you can only still carry six different items, you can have an unlimited amount of those specific items.
Toggle Special Abilities
Pause the game, then hold L1 + L2 and press Up(2), Down(2). Release L1 + L2 and press Square(2), R1, R2.
Unlock Mission
L1, R2, L2, R2, Right, Square, L3, R3. Note: You have to do this for each charecter and save.
Increase Items
Hold R2+L2, and press Up, Square, Square, Square, Up, Left, Down, Right.
All Multi-player Levels
At the versus or coop level selection screen, press L1, R1, L2, R2, Square, L3, R3.
Unlock All Characters
At the Title Screen press: L1, R2, L2, R1, Right, Left, L3, R3.
Restore Health
Pause game and then press: Up, down, Right, Left, Square, Square, Square
Unlock All Layouts
At mission select screen press R3, L3, R2, L2, R1, L1.
Unlock All Items
Item select screen hold R1, L1, press Up, Square, Square, Left, Square, Square, Down, Square, Square, Right, Square, Square.
Unlock Bonus Stage
At title screen press L1, Up, R1, Down, L2, Right, R2, Left.

Tenrai's Defeat
The easiest way to beat Tenria is to kill his first form. When you do he transforms. You cannot hirt his second form at first, but to get through it quickly throw a shurican at him which will not hirt him untill the little video starts. When it is over and you start fighting again quickly use the RATH of HEAVON move to get a one hit kill. This is the best way to kill Tenria.
End Stealth Kill
Do you get tired of watching stealth kill moves? Well know you dont have to. I have found out that while porforming a stelth kill. You can end the stealth kill by pressing the O button.
Double Team Attack
When playing co-op with second player sneak up on an enemy (behind him/she) press square while near your partner and they'll do a double-team attack. It's so awsom!
Defeating Demon Ninjas
When in a fight with two or more Demon Ninja, be very careful. If you are busy fighting one, the other can perform a stealth kill on you. Be sure to watch all Demon Ninja.
Throwing Things Around A Corner
There are a few items that you can throw around a corner; Grenades, Poisoned Rice, Smoke Bombs, and Caltrops. Put your back to the wall using R1, move to the very end of the wall, and tap Triangle on the item you wish to throw around the corner. Your character will then take out the item and throw it. If it is a Smoke Bomb, the character will cough and you can move in for a stealth kill.
Easy Stealth Kills
This trick works better on high roof levels such as Rikimaru's first mission. If you have trouble anticipating when to perform a stealth kill, use a Poison Rice. Throw it in front of the guard and slice him before he eats it. Then, retrieve your rice and repeat the attack. You must be on a roof or cliff to do this best. Run or walk up against an enemy's side or back and press Square (default) to stealth kill him. You can also stealth kill him in front, but you have to do this very quickly, before he notices you. Note: All stealth kills must be executed before the enemy notices you. Also, you can see different animations for each character depending on which side of the stealth kill is in view. Each character has a different stealth kill.
Poisoned Blades "Dokuto"
With Ayame, you have to get grand master on the 9th or 10th level and you will get some poisoned blades. they will hurt you for a few seconds, but it will stop. Whenever you hit somebody with them, it poisons them. Good for fighting bosses, hit them and run away and let the poison work its magic. You can take them on every mission, they will be on a blade rack thing right beside the blades that kill the undead. when you equip them, i suggest waiting for the poison to wear off before engagin in combat. (Duh)
Projectile Stealth Kills
If you use the blow gun on a guard who does not know you are there, it will be a one hit stealth kill and you will earn Kanji. Arrows won't work on people, but they will on dogs (so does the blow gun). You can take like 5 Blow darts, so there's 5 stealth kills for you.
Easy Buddah Temple Bosses
On the Level where you have to infiltrate the Buddah Temple (i think it's level eight with Rikimaru) you will have to fight Ganda, who is paired up with some girl (ayame's imposter) who keeps refilling his health. Just attack the girl and ignore Ganda. Once she stops blocking everything you can kill her with ease and Ganda will die along with her. After that, you have to fight Tatsumaru. 3 Grenades will kill him so save enough.
Stab Downed Enemies
Many people do not know about this... you can attack enemies while they are down without doing the jump attack. Run over to them after knocking them down and press square with any character. Rikimaru does a stab through the upper body with Izayoi. Ayame does a front flip stab with both of her blades. Tesshu delivers a powerful blow the chest with his fist. Works on any enemy.
Easier Boss Fights
Before you enter a level, bring about five or six Sticky Bombs with you. Save them until the Boss fight. Once you fight him, back up and use the Sticky Bombs. It should only take a few. This is the easy way to defeat Bosses, as the Sticky Bombs take off a lot of life and are unblockable.
New Items
Get a rank of Grand Master on a level to unlock new items. The item is different for every level.
Falling
When you are falling long distances, hold R1. When you land, you will not fall over and have to wait for your character to get back up. This is useful when you are trying to jump on an enemy and miss.
B-side Dialogue And Alternate Plot
Get grandmaster ratings on layout 1 for all characters to unlock B-side dialogue and alternate plot options under the sound options.
Play As Tesshu
Successfully complete the game with Rikimaru and Ayame to unlock Tesshu.
