Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
The Loop
If you got the bullring Level to do the loop you have to hold the spacebar up arrow and the grindin button and you go around the loop.
Secret Place
On Marsielle, France, go to the planter part with all the trees. Ride on it. You'll see a post holding up a tree. Run into it. It will knock down a wall where the secret place is and there's money there.
Secrets Ventura
A secret place in Ventura is right where you start out. Turn to the left and grind the rail over the halfpipe with the 50 dollar bill. If it says secret van area key, you got it. Then retry and go to your right and there's an open door.
Secrets Ventura Part 2
The other secret place is really easy. When you start out just go stragit to the huge quarter pipe thing with the bump and the Etnies sign and grind to the left. When you reach the end ollie and there's another rail. Grind that too. That opens the other secret place.
School Secret
At the school level, go down to the quarter pipe where the k in skate is. Go up that to get a lot of air (make sure your air, speed, ollie, and hangtime stats are high) then when you come down just go straight to the other side of the stage and go down the brown ramp. Then go up the planter and ollie. If your stats are good enough you'll make it on the roof. If you did ollie to the next roof to the secret place. There's some money there.
Play As Spider-Man
Successfully complete the game by completing all level objectives in career mode with a created skater.
Play As Officer Dick
Successfully complete the game by completing all level objectives in career mode.
Play As Private Carrera
Get all the gaps in each of the regular levels in career mode.
Play As McSqueeb
Successfully complete the game by completing all level objectives in career mode with Tony Hawk to unlock 80's Tony Hawk (Tony Hawk's Style C).
Chopper Drop: Hawaii Level
Earn three gold medals with all characters.
Skate Heaven Level
Successfully complete the game by completing all level objectives in career mode with all of the original characters, Officer Dick, Spider-Man, and a custom skater.
Neversoft Bails FMV Sequence
Earn a medal in every competition with any character.
Neversoft Makes FMV Sequence
Earn three gold medals with Private Carrera.
Skater's FMV Sequence
Earn the gold in all three competitions with a character to unlock their FMV sequence. Additional FMV sequences are available when this is done with Spider-Man or McSqueeb (Tony Hawk's Style C).
