To view credits press L2, L1(2), L2(3) at the mode selection screen.
Kick Ahead
Press R1(2) when you have the ball.

Hold L2 when you have the ball.

Press X(2) during a game to a nearby teammate.
Step-Over And Kick Ahead
Hold L1 when you have the ball.

Hints, Tips, Tricks, Secrets, Glitches & Easter Eggs
Perfect Team
Go to the "Edit Team" menu and choose your team. Then, go to "Edit Player". Pick a player, then select "Replace Player". Find 50's Madrid and select De Stefeno. Do this with as many players as needed. You can also change his appearance and name if desired.
Scoring A Penalty
A square will come on the screen. Hold circle until the top of the yellow meter reaches between the two lines in the middle. While doing that hold the direction in which you want the ball to go.
Score Goal Easily
Dribble the ball to the side until you reach the end but don't go out of bounds. Then press square if you have any players in the middle. If you don't wait, but don't get the ball stolen from you. When you press square and hit the ball, press down and circle and keep on pressing it. One of you're players in the middle will either header, volley or bicycle kick the ball. The harder you hit down and circle, the more powerful the shot will be. This is the way I win almost all of my matches.
Start Game Quicker
In the main menu, go to qick game instead of exhibition. You won't have to go through all those settings. If you don't like the teams they give you, you can press triangle go to option and choose costom quick game and choose both your team ad the computer's team. Note* This can also work if you turn of the system and turn it back on if you saved.
Limping Player
If you are playing the game and one of your players start limping press start and go to subsitution and the limping person will have a green card beside his name. Get him off the field because a limping player is no good.
Prevent Red Cards
Whenever one of your players get a yellow card subsitute him for a player on the bench with no card, this way he can't get another yellow to make a red. If you do this your team only get a red card if a player directly get a red card.
No Cards
Are you tired of getting cards, go to the option menu from the main menu and go to match settings. Scroll down till you see Referee and change the setting to Blind. This way the referee will never call fouls.
Easy Goals
When your are ready to shoot on goal inside the opposing team's area, aim the Analog-stick at the corner flag and shoot. About 90% of the time, the player will stick it in the top corner, away from the flinging arms of the goalkeeper.
Recommended Players
The two best players in the game (which are great for copying) are Alfredo di Stefano, striker, skill level of 82 (50's Madrid) and Johann Cruyff, free roll, skill level of 82 (70's Amsterdam).

Win the Asia Cup to unlock the Asia All-Stars at the team selection screen.
German League All-Stars Team
Win the German League to unlock the German League All-Stars at the team selection screen.
All Time 22 And All Superteams
Win the Super Team Championship in World Class mode.
Leister Square Pitch
Win the European Cup to unlock the Leister Square Pitch at the stadium selection screen in exhibition mode.
Schoolyard Pitch
Win the Jumpers 4 Goalposts trophy in World Class or Master Class mode to unlock the Schoolyard Pitch at the stadium selection screen in exhibition mode.
Semi Pro Pitch
Win the World Cup in World Class mode to unlock the Semi Pro Pitch at the stadium selection screen in exhibition mode.
Credit FMV Sequence
Win the Timewarp Cup to unlock an option for the game's credits at the main menu.
Africa All-stars Team
Win the Africa Cup to unlock the Africa All- Stars at the team selection screen.
North American All-stars Team
Win the North American Cup to unlock the North America All-Stars at the team selection screen.
