                                       STORY

If you have played Crash Bandicoot 2 then you know you've foiled Cortex's plan to 
take over the world using the 25 crystals' power! And that is where Crash Bandicoot 
3: Warped picks up -

As Cortex hurtles towards the Earth and hits it, somehow Aku-Aku's evil brother Uka-
Uka managed to escape from his underground prison! Uka-Uka soon finds his old 
friend and time traveller, N.Trophy! N.Trophy devises the plan to build a time 
vortex to get the crystals, gems and relics in their original places before Crash 
is even born! However, Aku-Aku finds out their evil plans and takes Crash and Coco 
to the time vortex! Now Crash AND Coco have to get to the crystals, gems and relics 
before Cortex and his goons get them! Its all up to them to save the world! AGAIN!

1) Who are the bosses?
A) The bosses are as follows :-

   Tiny Tiger - (ZONE 1)
   DingoDile  - (ZONE 2)
   N.Trophy   - (ZONE 3)
   N.Gin      - (ZONE 4)
   Neo Cortex - (ZONE 5)

2) How many times do I have to face the bosses to finish the game?
A) Tiny Tiger - 1
   DingoDile  - 1
   N.Trophy   - 1
   N.Gin      - 1
   Neo Cortex - 2
                 
3) Do I get an ability after I defeat a boss?
A) Yes. The abilities are follow:-

   AFTER DEFEATING Tiny Tiger - Super Body Slam ability
   AFTER DEFEATING DingoDile  - Double Jump ability
   AFTER DEFEATING N.Trophy   - Tornado Death Spin ability
   AFTER DEFEATING N.Gin      - Wumpa-Fruit Bazooka ability
   AFTER DEFEATING Neo Cortex - Running Fast ability

4) What are the contols?
A) The controls are as follows:-
  
  NORMAL CONTROLS
  
X - jump
O - crouch
O and X - big jump
O and a direction button - baseball slide
X and O - body slam
SQUARE - tornado attack
TRIANGLE - Displays amount of wumpa fruit, lives and boxes you've got in the level
UP - go forwards
DOWN - go backwards
LEFT - go left
RIGHT - go right

  SPECIAL ABILITY CONTROLS
  
  You have to beat a boss to get an ability

X and O - super body slam (You get this after beating Tiny Tiger)
X X - double jump (You get this after beating DingoDile)
PRESSING SQUARE REPEATEDLY - Death Tornado Attack (You get this after beating   
N.Trophy.)        
PRESS L2 DOWN AND REPEATEDLY PRESSING CIRCLE - shooting from wumpa- fruit bazooka 
(You get this after beating N.Gin. 
PRESS R2 AND A DIRECTION BUTTON DOWN - run really fast (You get this after beating 
Neo Cortex)

  UNDERWATER CONTROLS

  PRESSING X REPEATEDLY - swim faster
  SQUARE - underwater tornado spin
  CIRCLE - same as SQUARE (If not then its nothing)
  TRIANGLE - Displays amount of wumpa fruit, lives and boxes you've got in the level
  UP - swim upwards
  DOWN - swim downwards
  LEFT - swim backwards
  RIGHT - swim forwards
  
  You sometimes also ride an UNDERWATER SLED. Its controls are as follows:-
  
  X - go faster
  O - same as X
  SQUARE - fire missile
  UP - go upwards
  DOWN - go downwards
  RIGHT - go forwards
  LEFT - go backwards
  
Sometimes Coco Bandicoot is on PURA. (a friendly tiger) the controls are as  
follows:-

  X - jump
  O - go faster
  SQUARE - same as O
  RIGHT - go right
  LEFT - go left

  Pura is alays going forwards and can never go backwards.

  PLANE CONTROLS

  O - Shoot a bullet (Keep O pressed down all the time)
  SQUARE - spin (Used to dodge enemy bullets)
  LEFT - go left (can turn around leftwards with this control)
  RIGHT - go right (can turn around rightwards with this control)

  The plane is always moving.

  MOTORCYCLE CONTROLS

  X - accelerate (Keep it pressed down at nearly all times)
  SQUARE - brake
  LEFT - go left
  RIGHT - go right

  Crash is moving forward on the motorcycle all the time.
  
  JET SKI CONTROLS

  X - accelerate
  LEFT - go left (can turn around leftwards with this control)
  RIGHT - go right (can turn around rightwards with this control) 

5) How many secret levels are there?
A) 7. Go to SECRET LEVELS AND HOW TO UNLOCK THEM to find out how to get to the 
secret levels.

6) How do I get gems?
A) There are several ways to get gems. They are as follows:-
   
 1) Get all the boxes in a level.
 2) Complete a Skull/Death level. (to get in a skull/death level find a platform 
which has a skull on it and go on the platform)
 3) Complete a secret part of the level. I.e. In level 16 - Sphynxinator at the 
beginning of the level there is a seemingly impossible jump at the left side of a 
fork in the path. Do a double jump-death tornado spin to get across. But you don't 
get a gem after completeing that secret part of the level! Also, some of the secret 
levels are actually secret parts of a normal level.
 4) Complete a colured gem level. To see a coloured gem level platform (i.e a 
yellow gem level) you must get the yellow gem and then only you can see the yellow 
gem level platform and get on do the level.
      
 There are 44 gems.

7) How do I get a relic?
A) You can get a relic by completeing a level inside the time specified. You must 
touch the    golden clock at the beginning of a level to start a relic race. 
Destroy time boxes to stop the    timer. Time boxes have the number 1, 2 or 3 on 
them. this specifies how long (in seconds) it    is going to stop the timer if you 
destroy it. There are three types of relics.
   
   SAPPHIRE RELIC:- Most basic relic and easy to get.
   GOLD RELIC    :- More advanced relic and hard to get.
   PLATINUM RELIC:- Most advanced relic and nearly impossible to get.

   There are 30 relics.

8) What is the highest percentage you can get in the game and how can I get there?
A) I believe it is 105%. I have only got 104% but to get 105% you must have all the 
crystals,    gems and relics and defeat all the bosses and all the relics have to 
be gold or better.

9) What is the alternate ending?
A) Go to ALTERNATE ENDING to see.

                                  HINTS AND TIPS

1) Do relic races after you've got all the five abilities.
2) When you've got a Wumpa-fruit bazooka, use it as much as possible!
3) DO NOT use the wumpa-fruit bazooka in relic races, it wastes time.
4) In medieval levels with wizards, their spells can be spun away.
5) DO NOT waste lives unnecessarily.
6) In LEVEL 25: Bug Lite, run as fast as possible because the light bug goes away 
after a duration of time.
7) To get unlimited lives:-
(I) Go to Hang 'Em High (ZONE 2, not the secret level!)
(II) Finish the level.
(III) Defeat N.Trophy (ZONE 3) to get the Tornado Death Spin attack.
(IV) Go to Hang 'Em High (ZONE 2) again and do the relic race. (By touching golden 
clock)
(V) After killing the first sword guy, get to the part where there is agenie on a 
flying carpet behind 4 boxes. (Genie is clearly visible)
(VI) Get the 4 boxes AND the genie in the same Tornado Death Spin attack. (If you 
don't get all the boxes as well, you will not get a life.)
(VII) Kill yourself and repeat the process over and over.

The beauty of this method is that you don't lose a life in a relic race if you die!

                        SECRET LEVELS AND HOW TO UNLOCK THEM

As you know if you've read my FAQ till now, there are 7 secret levels. Here are 
their names and how to unlock them - 

LEVEL 26: Ski Crazed - Get 5 relics of any type.
LEVEL 27: Hang 'Em High (SECRET PART OF NORMAL LEVEL) - Get 10 relics of any type.
LEVEL 28: Area 51? - Get 15 relics of any type.
LEVEL 29: Future Frenzy (SECRET PART OF NORMAL LEVEL) - Get 20 relics of any type.
LEVEL 30: Rings Of Power - Get 25 relics of any type.

Those are just the secret levels. Here are the SUPER-SECRET levels - 

LEVEL 31: Hot Coco - Go to Level 14. (Road Crash) Soon after the beginning of the 
level there are 2 small road blocks. After that there is an alien sign. RAM IT! You 
will be transported to the super secret level.

LEVEL 32: Eggipus Rex - (You must have the yellow gem to get to this level.) Go to 
Level 11. (Dino Might!) Once there, go on the path until you find the yellow gem 
platform. Get on it. When you get to the part where a BIG dinosaur is chasing you 
keep running until you find a perodactyl. Run past the first perodactyl but let the 
second on carry you up. It will carry you to the super-secret level. NOTE*: It has 
to be the second one otherwise you'll die!

                                 ALTERNATE ENDING

I'm sure we all know the ending where Cortex is knocked down and Uka-Uka tells 
him "Nevermind, there are still the gems!" but this is the SECRET alternate ending -
 

Cortex and Uka-Uka get knocked down and the whole area is engulfed in a huge black 
orb! After the black orb dissipates Uka-Uka, Cortex and N.Trophy are locked up in 
Uka-Uka's original prison and Cortex and N.Trophy are babies now and they are 
fighting over who gets to keep Uka-Uka and Cortex says "Gimme the mask! With it I 
shall take over the world!".
