I. Introduction

When reading this guide Ctrl F will be very useful to find the dragon you are
looking for. I have repeats of the dragons becuase I list hybrids under every
type that they belong to. I do not claim that this guide is complete and a
definitive source for this game. This is a work in progress. If anyone has
comments, questions, suggestions, or corrections please email them to me at
[email protected]. Please put "DragonVale guide" or something similar in
the title so I can sort them easily.
The format is subject to change depending on the feedback I get. If you want
more details about anything or don't like how something is sorted or formatted
please let me know and I'll try to make some changes.

====Blazing Dragon====
The blazing dragon is a master of flight and is remarkably fast. Many attempts
have been made to craft a magical blazing saddle, but thus far nothing could
withstand the fire for long.

We're not exactly sure where the blue fire dragon comes from. We didn't think

Bone dragons can only be found for a couple weeks during the year. The rest of
the year it is believed that they burrow underground near cemeteries to be
around other bones. but I bet if you breed one and put it in a habitat with
other bones, it would stick around. Or perhaps near a heat source to keep away
the bone-chilling winter cold?

For a long time it was thought that dragons with multiple heads were nothing

When you think of dragons, the fierce fire dragon is probably at the forefront
of your thoughts. It is true that these beasts get cranky when they are cold.

volcanos.

The magical glow from their tails can be seen in the skies for miles around.
They look like stars at night. Their insect-like shape tends to scare people

The bright flower dragon is a favorite among dragon hobbyists. Though they

The majestic panlong dragon originates from the Far East and it's said to only

they're almost as rare too! I wonder if it's a coincidence that they only seem
to show up during the year of the dragon.

Believed to be the ancient ancestor of the more common fire dragon, scorch

your visitors - safe and happy in your park.

====Earth Dragon====
Despite the harshness of their habitat, the Earth Dragon is the least restless
of all known breeds. They are suprememly well adapted for their desert homes

protection from predators, but honestly, what animal in its right mind would
think to take on one of these massive beasts?

====Iron Dragon====
First discovered during the great wizard Dalfgan's maiden attempt to summon an
unknown beast from ancient times, the iron dragon is a close cousin of the more
common metal dragon. The large metal block at the end of its tail is
intimidating to some, but we've been assured that it just uses it for
communication. Hopefully they don't try to communicate with any of the visitors!

without braving a dangerous sandstorm, is bound to attract many visitors.

Few people are comfortable watching a tree flying in the sky, which is perhaps

dragons and after a certain amount of time they will produce an egg. The time

The Colosseum lets you put up a dragon to compete for 24 hours. The dragon
will not earn any income or be able to breed while it is in the Colosseum. The
event will be one of the main dragon types but I'm not sure what affects your
chances of winning. For winning a trophy (bronze, silver, gold) you will get
EXP and gold. Silver and gold trophies give gems in addition to EXP and gold.
''Fountain of Youth''

There are 8 types of dragon boosts, one for each of the main dragon types. The
boost and penalty are always 20%. Dragons can be affected by more than one
boost or penalty at the same time. I will list them all with the bonus and
penalty in the following format:

Shrines are sort of a counter for the nyumber of high level dragons you have.
There are two tiers with two sets of rewards. When you train 50 dragons of any
one type to level 10 you unlock level 11-15 for that dragon type. Hybrids
count for more than one type. For example, a Panlong Dragon at level 10 would
count as level 10 water, earth, fire, and air dragons. Once you get level 50
level 15 dragons, you unlock levels 16-20 for that type. The special dragons
(rainbow, leap year, sun, moon) cannot go above level 10 at this time.

in here. The basic building lets you store 25 dragons but you can upgrade it
