This is close but not exactly what i had my rookie year Charlotte/Lowes Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 in Rear Spoiler: 65 Front springs: 70 Rear Springs: 60 Wedge: 0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.90 3rd)1.30 4th)0.98 RearEnd)3.60 Chicago Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 74 1/2 Rear Spoiler: 65 Front Springs: 40 Rear Spings: 50 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.90 3rd)1.30 4th)0.97 RearEnd)3.50 Darlington Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 74 1/2 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 55 Rear Springs: 70 Wedge: 0.5 Gears: 1st)3.05 2nd)1.75 3rd)1.30 4th)1.00 RearEnd)3.50 Daytona This setup kinda sucked my first Daytona, but was the best i could do. By the time i got to the second races at both tracks i did good. Mainly i kept up in the draft enough that 2 tires on each pit stop got me the win or 2nd. Tire pressure: 30 Front springs: 80 Rear springs: 80 Wedge: 0 Gears: 1st)3.20 2nd)1.75 3rd)1.25 4th)0.84 Rear end)3.65 Daytona Beach Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 1/2 Rear Spoiler: 65 Front Springs: 30 Rear Springs: 80 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: Preset 7 Well that was my first try, so thought i would race a bit and see how it does. Figured i'd be in the middle of the pack. 10% race length on Legend difficulty. I got the pole by just over 3 seconds. And thats about how much faster i was than the computer during the race. So it was kinda boring, but the track is really fun to drive. Turn 1 and 3 i slid into, which is why i have such a huge rear spring, i wanted it loose so i could "dirt track it". Turn 1(the pits are on the back stretch Dover Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 35 Rear Springs: 45 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.10 3rd)1.55 4th)1.08 RearEnd)3.65 New Homestead Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 Rear Spoiler: 70 Front Springs: 35 Rear Springs: 60 Wedge 0.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.90 3rd)1.30 4th)0.98 RearEnd)3.55 These setups are new, and reflect my car at 90%+ is all three categories. Infineon Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 35 Rear Springs: 42 Wedge: -1.0 Gears: Preset 5 This track is about consistency. You need to tack every turn the same way. I hate this track but usually spend 5 or 6 laps of practice just to get in the groove. Also i get single file as soon as possible, even if i'm on the pole i'll let the outside guy go if he's beside me. Get single file then start picking them off. They break alot earlier than i do on both road course which is why i'm so fast at them and how i won my rookie yr on these tracks on veteran level. Indy Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 in Rear Spoiler: 67 Front Springs: 35 Rear Springs: 50 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: Preset 8 I CAN'T make it through the first turn with any speed, but the rest of the track my competitors get owned =D Kansas Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 74 1/2 Rear Spoiler: 70 Front Springs: 55 Rear Springs: 55 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.10 3rd)1.45 4th)0.95 RearEnd)3.55 Las Vegas Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 Rear Spoiler: 65 Front Springs: 40 Rear Springs: 65 Wedge: -1.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.85 3rd)1.35 4th)0.91 RearEnd)3.60 This setup nearly lapped the whole field on Legend last night. Depending on your motor adjust the gear accordingly. Martinsville Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 40 Rear Springs: 60 Wedge: 1.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.40 3rd)1.90 4th)1.50 RearEnd)3.55 Martinsville is MAINLY about getting into the corner and off. When u nail that you'll leave the competition, and the setup won't matter as much as other tracks. Michigan Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 74in Rear Spoiler: 57 Front Springs: 65 Rear Springs: 65 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: Preset 7 New Hampshire Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 70 Rear Springs: 35 Wedge: 0.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.10 3rd)1.60 4th)1.21 RearEnd)3.50 North Carolina "The Rock" Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 45 Rear Springs: 60 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: Preset 5 Phoenix Tire Pressure: 18 (HA i fooled YOU!) Fender Flare: 75 Rear Spoiler: 70 Front Springs: 35 Rear Springs: 50 Wedge: 0.0 Gears: Preset 5 Pocono Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 75 Rear Spoiler: 60 Front Springs: 45 Rear Springs: 65 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.90 3rd)1.30 4th).90 RearEnd)3.60 Richmond Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 50 Rear Springs: 25 Wedge: 0.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.30 3rd)1.70 4th)1.25 Rearend)3.60 Talladega Tire pressure: 30 Front springs: 80 Rear springs: 80 Wedge: 0 Gears: 1st)3.20 2nd)1.75 3rd)1.25 4th)0.84 Rear end)3.65 Texas Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 74 1/2 Rear Spoiler: 65 Front Springs: 50 Rear Springs: 70 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)2.10 3rd)1.45 4th)0.98 RearEnd)3.45 Tiburon Tire Pressure: 30 Fender Flare: 73 Rear Spoiler: 45 Front Springs: 50 Rear Springs: 50 Wedge: 0.0 Gears: 1st)3.60 2nd)1.80 3rd)1.15 4th)0.80 RearEnd)3.50 This setups is a little tight, so staying somewhat in the groove is important, especially the tri-oval. Watkins Glen Tire Pressure: 20 Fender Flare: 76 Rear Spoiler: 75 Front Springs: 36 Rear Springs: 55 Wedge: -0.5 Gears: Preset 6 Again these setups have changed recently, especially atlanta, so some adjustment may be needed depending on how good your car is. Have fun. One thing to remember is my driving style will most likely be differant from yours, so these setups may not work as good for u. I normally driver hard into the corner, brake hard, and accellerate hard off the corner. Often i "diamond" the turns when noone is around. These are all race setups, my qualifying setups where exactly the same except i moved the tire pressure to 15 psi(with the exceptions of Daytona and Tally i left at 30 psi). I qualified bad, but i raced really good, and most times i was faster than the leader, just ran out of time. Mainly cause of my slow pit crew. Remeber to fine tune these to your likeing, go to practice and turn a couple laps, then hit start, click on car setup, and make only ONE change, then return to racing. Its alot faster than starting in the pits every time u change something. Also only change one thing at a time so u know what that adjustment did to the car, and whether to keep it or not. Hope this helps and if there is a specific track you need a setup for just ask. *********************Note from Author*********Note from Author********************** Again to note that all of these postings we're originally created be Shaggeth83 at easports.com and are located in the Genaral Discussion area of NASCAR 2004. the only tracks that are missing are Las Vagas, Tiburon, and the Fantasy Road courses. These setups where recommended for use in Career mode with limited or no assist (located in the gameplay settings). Thanks [email protected] 10/22/03
